AFTERMOVIE COMING 08.11.2025

After nearly three decades, Openair Eschenbach made its long awaited comeback in 2025. The festival, which originally took place between 1988 and 1997, returned with the same vibrant spirit that once defined it. Together with Quirin Gasser, I had the opportunity of documenting this revival through film and photography, capturing countless beautiful and historic moments that celebrated both the past and the future of this iconic festival.

Over the course of three festival days, we delivered more than 400 photographs of all 21 individual acts.
Every evening, we also edited a short day recap reel, shot entirely by ourselves and produced directly on site.
The festival concluded with a full aftermovie, crafted to encapsulate the emotion, energy, and community spirit of
Openair Eschenbach’s return.
